The goal for this post world war II wood frame house in the old and historic downtown district was to design a well organized, spacious, elegant kitchen that connected more to the rear garden and family room. The new east facing windows introduce morning light to the kitchen area, and a relocated back door allows closer access from the driveway. The architects connected the family room to the kitchen by opening the wall between the two, catering to a more contemporary style of living.
